If you have ever had to suffer with a lip blister or cold sore then you know exactly what a curse they really are.  I sometimes wish that Bill Gates or Warren Buffet suffered from Cold Sores, because I suspect we would have seen rather more research into the area if they had

Cold Sores are caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus which lies dormant at the base of the nerves around your head, and periodically re-appears, most usually when you are feeling  a little run down, are stressed out over something, are experiencing climactic differences, such as when you travel on holiday to a new country that is appreciably hotter or colder then the one you normally live in. Or else, the main culprit in my experience, when you have a date!

Either way, regardless of the causes there are things that you can do to prevent cold sores, and in Lip Blister I will explore them.
